Descripton
Veolia manage a 33kV substation and feeder of approximately 11 km at Avon Dam on behalf of Sydney Water. This substation was built over 50 years ago and the assets are approaching end of life and the switchyard didn't comply with modern safety standards relating to exposed busbars.
This project involved,
- Conducting a condition assessment and making recommendations for remedial works
- Preparing a SOW and RFQ package
- Tender evaluation
- Technical support to project manager
