Descripton
As part of Veolia's operations establishment for the operations and maintenance of the Sydney Desalination Plant, a CMMS system was required to be implemented.
Challanges
The major challenges on this project were,
- Implementation time frame - limited time was available to complete this politically sensitive project
- Limited budget - The SDP project budgets were created when Maximo was owned by MRO. At the time of implementation IBM had purchased MRO and licensing cost had increased dramatically
Accomplishments
Completed project to budget and schedule.
Maintained tight control of the project by limiting work done to configuration of the product only and excluding any product modifications or extensions.
