Descripton

Project included the construction of a new coating kitchen for carbon free papers and the relocation of a used coating machine.

Was responsible for process descriptions, DCS function and interlocking diagrams, FAT of ABB DCS, commissioning and post start-up process assistance.

Challanges

This project had several challenges,

• Batch rather than continuous process
• Process was internally developed by Mondi so had limited support
• Process fluids containing resins that set solid in process lines
