Descripton
Mill rebuild project involving upgrades across various departments at the Mondi, Piet Retief Mill.
Process Control Engineer responsible for the board machine rebuild. In the paper machine area the rebuild included a Valmet QCS, Voith Nipcoflex Shoepress, Siemens Sectional drive, new wire section vacuum system and upgraded approach flow and paper machine broke systems.
On site for acceptance testing of control system software, and assistance during installation and start-up.
System design and engineering for this project was preformed in the Jaakko Poyry Durban design office.
