Descripton

Veolia in a joint venture with URL responded to a tender from Water NSW for a pipeline from the Murray River to Broken Hill.

The tender consisted of,

• Approximately 300 km pipeline
• Three pump stations
• Power supply
• Pre-treatment plant
• Reservoirs
• Operations and Maintenance

Challanges

This project had several challenges including,

• Large number of organizations in the project team
• The management of risk relating to algae
